A veteran Tulsa police officer is now at the center of an investigation in Bixby.

We are not releasing his name at this point because he has not been charged.

FOX23 has learned the district attorney will consider the case and decide if charges will be filed in connection with the domestic disputes at the officer's home.

Bixby police responded to the officer’s home twice in the past four days. They told FOX23 the second call, which came in on Thursday was a false alarm but aren't saying much about their investigation into a domestic dispute between the officer, his wife and his teen.

One woman who lives right down the street came out because of the noise. She didn't want to be identified but says she didn't know how serious the domestic dispute was until police we're called.

"I guess the grandma was staying the night. She came out looking really worried and got this neighbor right here (referencing the next door neighbor) involved and said I'm going to call 9-1-1 because he's beating the crap out of her," the woman said.

FOX23 reached the officer by phone. He told us there was not a dispute between him and his wife. He says there was only a disagreement with his teen.

A decision on charges could be made as early as Friday.

We have submitted a public records request to TPD for the officer’s personnel order to find out the status of the officer. FOX23 is expected to have the documentation in the morning.

This is great, going back to three years ago when Travis Ludwig was caught selling cocaine out of his cop car, then the what..5 or 6 who went on trial a while back, then CPL Watkins and now Marvin Blades Jr. this is like 9 cops caught breaking the law, I understand TPD has about 700-800 cops now, so that is over 10% of the entire police force who either has been recently or is now taking part in criminal activity. I don't know about any of you but I find knowing that a little bit disturbing.

If he was just "another person", it wouldn't have even made it on the news. If my teenage boy got in my face, I would knock his head off. Too many folks afraid to discipline their kids because some Bixby cop wannabe might put them in jail. Just let your kids loose folks!

Notice that the person being interviewed said "he's probably beating the crap out of her"...Fox 23 misquotes. Shame on you.
