A Tulsa elementary assistant principal accused of molesting several children is out jail tonight.Wednesday, Tulsa County District Judge Allen Klein reduced Robert Yerton Jr.’s bond back to his aggregate bond of $150,000 for all five counts.
That is $100,000 less than the scheduled bond for all charges counts.
Yerton turned himself in on Monday after the fifth charge was filed which had increased his bond to $500,000. Yerton bonded out of jail last week on four counts.
Yerton is now charged with three counts of Lewd Molestation and two counts of Child Sex Abuse.
Court records show a school counselor notified the Skelly principal and District administrators about her concerns and Yerton's suspicious behavior with boys in October and later this school year.
Yerton is accused of molesting a six-year-old boy and eight-year-old boy at Skelly Elementary.
He is also accused of molesting a seven-year-old boy at Disney Elementary during the 2001-2002 school year.
Tulsa Pubic Schools says it is the process of terminating Yerton who has been with the district since 1993.
