OHP responded early Tuesday morning to a crash on I-244 westbound between Highway 11 and Memorial.
Troopers say it was a head-on collision. The driver was going the wrong way for at least 1/2 a mile, and hit an SUV and a truck. The people in the SUV and truck are okay, they did not need to be taken to the hospital.
The wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital, but troopers with OHP expect her to be okay, which they say is amazing given the damage to her car.
Gary Snow was behind the wheel of the truck that got hit. He says she came out of no-where and was heading right towards him. He tried to avoid her, but couldn't. The two vehicles hit, which sent the woman's small black car spinning.
OHP is still investigating why she heading the wrong direction.
