An East Tulsa woman stabbed her boyfriend after they got into a fight while her children were at home.
"The young man knocked the young lady down and started beating on her," said neighbor Gregory Graves. "They started fighting over here in the corner of the house by the trash cans."
Graves told FOX 23 that he saw someone try to break up the fight three different times, but the man persisted.
"He ran after her trying to start the fight over again and the father jumped out of the car and he separated the two of them," he said.
Although Graves didn't actually see the stabbing, he said the young man appeared to be bleeding from his right ear. Police are investigating the situation further to determine if the woman acted in self-defense so they'll know for sure who is the victim and who is the suspect in the dispute.
Traces of blood spotted the driveway where the man eventually left the scene. Tulsa Police Cpl. Jeremy Noland said the man went to a nearby K-Mart where he told police his side of the story before going to the hospital.
