i think someone missed your point Scarlet and went on an unrelated rant. I agree that the individual "drug stores" (not the drug makers) should give the would be robber an imitation pain pill (worthless) when being robbed. Now who makes it, who cares as long as it looks like the real thing.

Scarlet #8 ^]] I assume that you recommend that the corporation that makes the medication would also make the placebo. A friend of mine was a handy man. He hired me as a helper and I did things that were difficult for him like finish Sheetrock or apply varnish or other finishes that would hurt his lungs. He had a breathing problem that required a certain steroid. Sometimes while driving down the road I had to get behind the drivers seat of the van and get the mouthpiece for his breathing therapy. One time he went to the pharmacy that was his regular pharmacy. He picked up medication for himself and his daughter (she had the same breathing disorder that he did. The packaging said that this was his medication. The bottle was even clearly marked as just what the doctor ordered. Once he began the therapy with what was clearly marked as the right medication he was supposed to be using he got unfamiliar results from his therapy. Later he died. Seems like everything was right except for the contents. Wrong steroid in that bottle. The wrong medication in a bottle that looked like his medication. A good bad thing :-) He died in time to keep his daughter from doing the same thing. His wife was awarded a very handsome cash award.. So now you think it would be a good idea to put the wrong contents in more than one kind of medication. A drug manufacturer unintentionally did that to my friend and it resulted in his death. It cost the drug maker millions of dollars for the wrongful death of my friend. Even while the drug maker is doing all they can to get it right and then screw it up and kill people you think that it's a good idea to mislabel a placebo that looks like the real thing ;-( and possibly KILL more people resulting in high dollar law suits costing millions and smudging their name. I'm pretty sure that Merk and Lily would disagree. It's a whole lot easier and less costly to try and keep the ship on its true course. Can't wait to see the security video.
