A Tulsa woman is receiving praise after she tried to stop a man she caught touching himself inappropriately at a south Tulsa Walmart.
Police arrested 37-year-old Brian Hounslow on a complaint of indecent exposure on Wednesday.
FOX23's Angela Hong spoke to the woman, and saw the video she made of the confrontation with Hounslow.
"My name is Beth Davis and I witnessed it. You were naked and you had your pants down around your ankles," she said on the tape.
It was fear that Hounslow would get away that Davis said compelled her to start recording him with her cellphone.
On Wednesday, Davis said she walked into the woman's restroom of the Walmart at 65th and Memorial streets and found Hounslow.
"There he was naked. I mean he was completely naked," she said.
She said she ran out immediately and screamed, "Ahhhh! There is a naked man in the (women's) restroom."
Davis said no one tried to stop him and she was stunned to find that no Walmart employees came to her or offered to help.
"There wasn't anybody. There wasn't a manager or a security guard. No one came up to me," she said.
In the meantime, Hounslow walked out of the restroom.
"He looked at me and said. 'Sorry, I didn't know it was the woman's bathroom," she said.
Another customer was able to follow Hounslow and got his license plate number. Two hours later Broken Arrow police arrested him at his home.
Davis said that if it had to happen she's glad that it was an adult who walked in and not a child.
"I thought 'Whoa, 15 minutes from now, some parent is going to say to their child. 'Go ahead and go to the restroom. I'll wait out here' and that has got to stop," she said.
FOX23 contacted Walmart about what happened but no one responded.
