NORTH TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police have identified the victim of a hit and run accident that killed a woman.

Police said Angela Marie Young was hit and killed while trying to cross an intersection on Tuesday night.  Police are searching for the driver of a white Ford Windstar van. It happened near 3rd and Lewis around 7:00 on Tuesday evening.

Officers say the 57-year-old woman was using a walker to cross the street when a driver hit her heading westbound. Police were able to look at nearby video footage from a local business that shows the accident. They say the van they are looking for should have some damage to the front end of it.

The woman was taken to St. John Medical Center where she later died of her injuries. Police told FOX23 the footage clearly shows the driver of the van hitting the woman in the intersection and then taking off without stopping.
