Brenda Ballard said when she saw a trampoline in her back yard, “I’m like what in the world is that.”

When limbs and branches landed in her yard she said she knew what to do. She put them in a pile on the curb. But she said when a trampoline landed in her backyard she was not sure what to do, so she put up a craigslist ad to find the owner.

A trampoline flipped into Ballard’s backyard week after last Tuesday’s storm.

She said, “Everyday I’d come out and there’s the trampoline, the next day the trampoline.”

She said she walked the neighborhood trying to find the owner.

She said she would ask her neighbors, “Do you have a trampoline? As I’m climbing up over the fence.”

She said she had no luck and she could not find the owner.

She told FOX23’s Price McKeon her next thought was,  so she told me her next thought, “Well I’ll go ahead and put an add out on craigslist because that’s what you do when you go looking for something.”

She made a Craigslist ad with the title “Trampoline Found.”

After the storm FOX23 found a trampoline mangled in Broken Arrow and an upside down trampoline in Tulsa.

Ballard said, “I’m one of those people when something’s lost, it’s usually an animal, I try to find its owner.”

But this time it was a trampoline. She said she got a few email replied from the ad. She said she even quizzed those people on the size and make of the trampoline.

She said, “Obviously I didn’t want people coming out of the wood work say I lost, you found my trampoline.”

She said in the ad no delivery, “But they could pick up or roll it home.”

She said she was trying to help out the best she could, “Helping my neighbor was finding the one of the trampoline, getting it back home some kids were missing it.”

She said the owner has claimed the trampoline. She said it was not through the Craigslist ad but she is glad kids are back jumping on it.

They probably already filed a claim on their homeowners insurance. Getting the trampoline back would reduce their chance to get a new one.
