A Sand Springs woman accused of plowing into cyclists with her SUV Tuesday is out on bond.  Two of those cyclists died.

Tausha Borland was being held on $100,000 for two complaints of first-degree manslaughter.  She had to come up with ten-percent of that to get out.

Christa Voss and Matthew Edmonds died after the wreck on State Highway 51 near 165th W. Ave. A third bicyclist was injured.

A trooper's report says he smelled a "strong odor of alcohol on Borland," and there was an open container in her car.  Dept. of Public Safety records obtained by FOX23 show Borland's license is not revoked or suspended.

OHP says it is awaiting the results of a blood alcohol test.

TPD's traffic division tells us state law requires blood tests on the driver at-fault if there is a fatality collision. Drivers can still get behind the wheel, while the blood test results are pending.

Borland had a previous record of driving while impaired from 2007; her license was reinstated in 2008.

A Tulsa County court clerk says $50,000 bond is standard for manslaughter, even first degree manslaughter.

On Saturday morning at 10, Tulsa area cyclists will take part in a "Ride of Silence" to honor the victims, Christa Voss and Matthew Edmonds.  It begins at 15th & Quaker and continues to the crash site in Sand Springs, where white "ghost bikes" stand as a memorial to Voss and Edmonds.

This POS needs to rot in jail with the pictures of her victims on her cell wall. Maybe if OK had interlock devices like AZ requires after ur 1st DUI, these two productive citizens would still be alive.

Another Drunk Driver (ADD). It seems these days that every one has to have that (one for the road) drink Drunk drivers are going to kill us all with (I can handle my liquor) I have friends that have lost a child due to a drunk driver hitting him and then driving away. My own grand-children were hurt because of one that rear ended my car then drove off he had his license revoked because he destroyed his car in another DUI accident a week before. Then went out and bought another car from an individual and didn’t put that car in his name and had the previous owner’s insurance card in the glove box (He didn’t have any insurance). The officer didn’t check, Because he was not charged with another DUI (he was charged with a lesser crime) He walked. We have got to find a way to stop these drivers from getting on the road. Yes send her to prison let her know what it like to loose family even if it’s only for a couple of years.

looks like/ acts like a twin to the maggot that ran over the cycle riders on Memorial and killed them. Its the big pink elephant in the corner of the room. Cops are so busy fighting with ambulance drivers they don't have time to deal with crap like this.

I moved to Tulsa 3 years ago. Every time a car slammed into one or two pedestrians, they weren't charged. I was laughing as this happened about once a month. I thought it was a big joke as the mayor was making this a "Walkable city" (with pedestrian checks). All of a sudden someone wipes out three people and charges are pressed. Then another, then this one. Watch the news Grasshopper, its getting that time of year when pedestrians are going to be killed left and right and no charges will be pressed unless its 3 or more. Do a search on fox23 there great at keeping old articles.

Who knows heart, maybe he is drinking the same stuff the driver of the S.U.V. was drinking. I read comments on here all the time and I have read some pretty stupid stuff.

WHAT? That doesn't even make sense. What in the hell is kindagreywolf talking about.

Interesting. I was stymied at first why the police were involved. I have notice that in Tulsa the pedestrian limit is about two a day. So this person was in there legal limit. Now I see the third person!
