Claremore Woman Hits Jackpot
Claremore Woman Hits Jackpot
(TULSA, OK)  - A Claremore woman hit a life-changing jackpot of $351,955.08 at Osage Million Dollar Elm casino in Tulsa on Thursday, Oct. 8. The jackpot is the largest at the Tulsa casino since it opened in August 2005.

Michelle Gillette, 42, of Claremore was playing on a penny slot machine at about 2 a.m. for about 10 minutes when she hit the jackpot on a wide area progressive machine that’s linked together with other machines at unrelated casinos.

She was playing a MONOPOLY™  JACKPOT STATION slot machine, introduced to the Tulsa casino this week.

Gillette said winning this jackpot came at the right time for her because her family has struggled financially. She said she plans to pay bills with her winnings.

“This jackpot will change our lives because believe me, it’s been a stressful year,” said Gillette, plant manager at Viking Packing in Tulsa. “Just getting rid of the stress is worth a million dollars to me.”

Osage Million Dollar Elm casino Tulsa casino processes jackpots of $ 1,200 or more monthly or an average of 35 jackpots a day.  Jackpot payouts range from $1,200 to $351,000.

“We’re excited to add Ms. Gillette’s big win to our list of jackpot winners at Osage Million Dollar Elm casino in Tulsa,” said Stephan Burris, general manager, Osage Million Dollar Elm casino.  “We invite everyone from first-time winners to those guests who experience many winning moments to come out for excitement at the closest gaming attraction to downtown Tulsa.”

Gillette was playing with her new Guest Rewards card which is available for guests to redeem points for entries into promotions, food, drinks, event center tickets and more at Osage Million Dollar Elm casinos in Tulsa, Sand Springs and Bartlesville. The Guest Rewards program will also be enhanced by the end of October at Osage Million Dollar Elm casinos Skiatook, Hominy, Pawhuska and Ponca City.

With the new card, guests earn and redeem points at any and all of our seven Osage Million Dollar Elm Casinos. The card is free, and the rewards guests receive are valuable and convenient.

In March 2009, a Florida woman hit a wide area progressive jackpot of $776,365.64 at Osage Million Dollar Elm casino in Bartlesville. That slot machine jackpot was the largest for the Osage Nation’s economic enterprise which operates seven casinos in Osage County.
