TULSA, Okla. - FOX23 learned some Tulsa travelers aren't finished with this stretch of winter weather just yet.
Flights to and from Atlanta are being cancelled due to ice and snow.
Tuesday night we saw at least seven flights arrive late and a couple of flights to Atlanta were already cancelled.
The mess that is expected in Atlanta ended up leaving some travelers in a bind.
"Oh, it's very frustrating," said Linda Maloney, who has a deadline to make and has no choice but to get to Orange County, Calif.
"I’m catching a flight out of the country on Thursday. I don't have any flexibility on the other end of this.”
But Mother Nature doesn't care.
Maloney's plan was to leave Wednesday from Fayetteville, Ark., and connect in Atlanta on her way to California.
That all changed Monday night with an unexpected email "saying my Wednesday flight had been cancelled, so I was up most of the night trying to figure out an alternative," Maloney said.
That alternative flight forced her to leave a day early and from Tulsa.
"This is not my home. In order to get on a flight, any flight that would get me to southern California on Delta then I had to come here to do it," she said.
Maloney isn't alone in her frustration.
Fox23 found other flights at Tulsa International both to and from Atlanta cancelled because of the weather forecast there.
Maloney understands that Old Man Winter is uncontrollable.
"As long as I get to where I’m supposed to get too safely, it will be OK," Maloney said.
Still after all the shuffling she said she's exhausted and she hopes as the weather closes in on Atlanta, she will somehow still make her way to sunny California.
