Thursday, Southwest Tulsa's first farmer's market opens up at 25th Street and Southwest Boulevard.
It will be open every Thursday throughout the summer from 2-7 p.m. and parking is available on the east side of the market.
In addition to other local farmers, artists and craftsmen, students from Webster High School and Eugene Field Elementary will also be selling their own produce and plants.
The non-profit, RedFork Main Street will be organized and operating the weekly event.
Executive Director of RedFork, Dianne Bileck, said, "We are excited to be able to offer fresh produce and products to the Southwest Tulsa area residents and people who work here."
Redfork works on revilaization projects along the historic Route 66, throughout Southwest Tulsa.
