A west Tulsa man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the neck overnight on Tuesday.
Rodney Long, 27, is in the Tulsa County Jail accused in the stabbing of Karl Henson.
Police told FOX23 that Henson suffered severe injuries because of the location of the attack. Henson was stabbed in the neck.
The initial call came in just before midnight. Police tell us they found Henson laying in a puddle of his own blood.
“If it hits his spinal cord then he'll be paralyzed from the neck down and he will not be able to breather at all on his own, he'll be paralyzed for the rest of his life,” Henson’s sister, Belinda, told FOX23.
An MRI then confirmed that Henson is paralyzed from the neck down.
She also said her brother knew the accused attacker, but they weren't friends, just acquaintances. Police said the fight between the two men started as a dispute about a woman.
Henson's sister said he will be undergoing an MRI to determine the extent of bodily damage.
