Water line repairs to interrupt service on South Vandalia on Tuesday night.
Crews will repair a leak in a 24-inch water line on South Vandalia Avenue that will require water service shut-off for several hours along South Vandalia between 4th Place and 15th Street.
This will impact five businesses near the intersection of 11th and S. Vandalia and approximately 200 homes in the area will be without water service between approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Water distribution personnel from the City of Tulsa attempted to talk with people at all affected homes and businesses Tuesday morning. Door-hangers with information about the service outage were placed at homes where no one could be found to notify.
There will be a trailer containing potable water that affected residents can get water if they bring containers, during the period when the water line is out of service.
