The Inola Public School superintendent decided not to cancel classes because of weather, then found a water line leak turned off water at the school.

Dr. Kent Holbrook says they had to cancel classes after everyone was already there because the water went off at 7 a.m.

City officials say a water line broke under a yard and they are working to get a valve to reroute the water back to the school.

Buses were already running so school officials called parents to pick up the students or have them taken home.
