Water emergency lifted in Rogers County RWD 4

A four day water emergency for patrons of Rogers County Rural Water District No. 4 was lifted at mid-afternoon Wednesday.
District Office Manager Julie Hendrix said repairs were completed at the district's water treatment plant early Wednesday afternoon and the plant operated at needed capacity for several hours with no glitches.
Residents had been using conservation efforts since a pump failed Saturday morning. Now that the emergency has been lifted, patrons are free to water flowers and lawns, wash cars and engage in other water-intensive activities.
