In Tulsa, people were lining up Saturday at car washes to clean off the sand and salt that came with the winter weather this week.

More than 200 cars showed up at the rocket lube and wash.

FOX23 spoke with residents who were enjoying the nice day at the car wash even though they had to wait in line.

"Oh, oh yeah I was going to wash it myself and then I decided to just take my time and come up here," car wash customer William Andon, Jr. said.

Body shops FOX23 checked with said keeping salt and sand on a vehicle for too long could cause the paint to rust.
