Wagoner County deputies arrest 3 in sex sting

The Wagoner’s County Sheriff’s office arrested three men after a sting to catch suspected sex trafficking.

Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert initiated a sting after reports were received of the traffic and actions in the area near the Lock and Dam 17, located East on W 90th St N from US 69.

Colbert said deputies dressed in civilian attire and civilian vehicles, worked the area and were solicited.

Deputies arrested three men:

Brian Helt, 39, of Oktaha, OK on complaints of indecent exposure & engage in a lewdness

Robert Taylor, 47, of Porter, OK on complaints of indecent exposure

Larry Terry,64, of Coweta, OK on complaints of engage in lewdness.

Colbert said he has a zero tolerance on sex crimes and hopes this sting will eliminate future problems in the area

Terrific. The county is drowning in methamphetamine manufacture and use and they're expending all this money and effort to catch a few dirty old men. I guess it's easier than actually working.
