A volunteer firefighter, who admitted to setting seven grass fires in a Muskogee County pasture, took a plea deal of five years.

Dustin Davis was a member of the Boynton Volunteer Fire Department.  He was charged with a third-degree arson felony. The Muskogee County Sheriff's office says he did so as a way to hang out with firefighters.

Davis was also ordered to pay $1,000 dollars in restitution to the landowners.
