A Boynton volunteer firefighter is charged with arson.
The Undersheriff in Muskogee County says Dustin Davis, a volunteer firefighter in Boynton, confessed to seven counts of arson. The Sheriff's office says Davis admitted to setting seven fires and said he did so as a way to hang out with firefighters.
Officials say Davis told them he liked the camraderie and got an adrenaline rush from the fires. Investigators also say Davis called the fires in once he set them.
Investigators say the fire chief suspected Davis and the sheriff's office confessed when they started investigating him. They say the fires were all small and easy to put out except for one.
