Not that it matters but the guy was a VBI student, they have a work study program where if you attend VBI you can work at VCC to pay your tuition.

Who used their position to cover it up?Why were they arrested if they were innocent?Some of them have the same last name as the pastor,horrible crime raping a child is and then cover it up,understand there are more and they have opted to deal with it through prayer.Don't care if the mom is shooting herion it doesn't make it right.

@Gladys These were not "Teachers or Medical Staff or even Ministers" the guy who raped that girl was a janitor.. The youth leaders reported it to HR immediately now from what I heard they get charged for not following the correct policy and lesson learned I guess.. Think they probably learned their lesson.. When they deal with 1000's of kids from the innercity and all over every month you gotta think they hear a lot. It is a risky thing to do outreach but they do it..

Does this mean they were using a different set of laws regarding reporting abuse? I thought everyone who teaches and every medical person who treats kids were bound by the same Oklahoma law, REPORT ALL SIGNS OF ABUSE IMMEDIATELY...what law were they observing? CYA, cover your as* law?
