Tulsa utility customers have until June 30 to choose to opt out of fees for EMSA TotalCare program.

Most Tulsa utility customers pay a $3.64 monthly fee of in case anyone in their household needs emergency ambulance services through the Emergency Medical Services Authority.

This fee constitutes enrollment in the EMSA TotalCare program. Those paying the fee will not need to pay anything more for an emergency transport by EMSA.

Customers who have paid the fee and would like to continue paying the fee do not need to do anything. They will stay enrolled in the program.

Customers who would like to opt out of the ambulance utility fee must fill out a form either in person at City Hall Customer Service or online.

Customers who had opted out of the fee last year and would like to continue to opt out do not need to do anything, they will stay opted out.

Customers who had opted out last year, but would like to opt back in this year must fill out an“opt-in” form either in person at City Hall or online.
