Here is the problem the citizens of North Tulsa have with this budget...We have over $1.8 million for our parks from the third penny sales tax allocated for North Tulsa. The money is there to fix our parks!! In 2001-2006 fiscal year WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SPENT FOR BC FRANKLIN New Play Unit $ 45,000 Replace Gym Floor $ 52,000 Air condition gym $ 95,000 repaint entire facility $ 16,000 a total of $208,000 I would like to ask Lucy NO Dolman....where is the dough?

I'm worried about the gangsters and gays, where on earth will they meet now if all the parks on the North side are closed....Oh, that's right, there is still Riverside! Whew, had me concerned there for a minute. Kindagreywolf, I live on the North side, and these parks are not used by the kids, it isn't safe for them there, it would be doing them a favor if they were turned into huge green zones, at least they wouldn't get aids or hep. trying to play there, less likely to be shot or stabbed in the open too.

Take a drive through the north side and see all the dilapidated homes, is that the cities fault as well? Why is it always those that are in the 48% that pay nothing into the system the loudest to scream about money?

I always thought I was a Racist until I moved here and have personally seen what the City has done to the Northside. Now I know I'm a Saint.
