off the city of tulsa web site... Sanitary sewer fees pay for the treatment and disposal of more than 23 billion gallons of wastewater each year. Single-family, residential sanitary-sewer rates are based on the five-year average of water usage billed in the months of December, January and February, or on the current month's water usage, whichever is less. Under either system, residential customers are charged $4.71 per 1,000 gallons of water used. Then why in the hell did they jump my total fee from 22.93 to 46.03 I have paid my sewer usage bill since I have lived here in Turley... Is it because City of Tulsa wants to be reimbursed from the honest customers for the dishonest customers they cannot collect from? Mad... Yes I am mad as hell this should be illegal!

Now if we can get our community to call district 1 highway department to get them to re pave 66th street from 75 highway to peoria, road is becoming hazardous to drive on, feel like you are dribbling down the road. Would make accessing O'brian Park a pleasant experience for all the baseball and Golfers.

This report is lacking a lot of information. Why were the residents getting sewer service at no charge? Was it something they were doing or did the City of Turley just fail to bill? If I was one of these residents and had done nothing wrong (such as bypassing a meter, etc.) then I would refuse to pay the bill and contact an attorney. After all, it wouldn't be my fault if the City failed to bill at the proper time. MORE INFORMATION PLEASE FOX23!

One would think the price of living in the county would be cheaper than in the city being less services are provided, but here in Turley you can find that is not the case. The combination of the water, sewer, and trash are exceptionally higher out here. The water department estimates usage, unless you complain. Most of the complaints fall on deaf ears and are not handled at all, and the bill is due on the 10th of every month with shut off of water services 10 days later...not even 30 days past due. Then as you have found through your on going investigation the city of Tulsa does the same, in fact, I think the only service out here that gives its customers a fair shake is TAT's trash service. I think that the City of Tulsa Sewer and the Turley Water District should be audited and investigated for overcharging its customers.

You should actually do Harder news reporting. According to the city, for every 1,000 gallons of water, we pay $7.79 in sewer. That means, so far, the city of Tulsa has stolen a MINIMUM of $166.63 in the past year from me. Depending on who you talk to depends on what lie you get. I'm not the only person that tulsa is doing like a hooker on Saturday night. I also know empty houses where people are in nursing homes and tulsa is charging them up to $50 a month! Who cares about that though, huh? Thieves.
