The recount for the County Runoff Primary election for Republican voters in the race for Tulsa County Clerk ended Friday at 3:15 p.m.
The recount found candidate Pat Key picked up one vote and candidate Dean Martin lost one vote, said Patty Bryant, Secretary of the Tulsa County Election Board.
The unofficial results are Key 9009 and Martin 8825. These results will not be certified until after the judge rules at the Irregularity Hearing scheduled for Friday, September 14. Bryant added voters in Oklahoma should be assured the new election machine technology is performing with great accuracy.
The investment and implementation of this new system is demonstrating anticipated results as we discovered with what was Tulsa County's second election recount since we began using the new voting device in 2012.
