Bullwhark I'm not sure if the bus drivers are allowed to touch them. They may be trained for CPR . Probably a silent code. Don't touch the children sounds much safer. Besides there should be cameras to identify the troublemakers. Parents meeting with school officials

Im having a real hard time believing the bus driver just ignored the situation and let it happen...

when I first moved to tulsa and found out union school had to have a police officer in the high school I felt so sad. what had happened to the schools. It does sound like the first girl was really annoying but if the one girl told the bus driver maybe he would have made her knock it off but most likely not. Any way now we have to have police on the buses because they are the only ones who can touch the kids and restrain them. Don't put some whimpy adult on the bus. We don't want what happened to the poor lady bus monitor in another state. By the way because the kids can't behave it is now going to cost you money to have police on the bus. I know as an adult my first instinct is to find that girl and to beat her up but then we get arrested. So I think the answer is police on the bus to keep everyone safe.

I was there the whole time and Bethany had lied. The girl that had beaten her up was also beaten up but in a verbal way. Bethany had cursed at the other girl and then laughed at her. I am not saying that it was her fault but she had also encouraged the fight ahead of time not knowing what she was getting herself into. -Blond girl that knows the truth.
