the 4th and 5th amendments were both trampled on. i don't condone people driving without insurance. perhaps these insurace giants shouldn't be so greedy and then maybe all persons could afford it? and for mustangdriver. if you take away there means to get back and forth to work who do you suppose is going to pick up th tab for housing food clothes? please go look n a mirror. there yougo!

Unwashed Mass - This sounds like a roadblock (checkpoint). They do not have to have a reason to stop people. So not sure "petty" things have anything to do with it. They need to set up more of these for uninsured and drunk drivers. These could turn into a cash cow for the city of tulsa. If people are willing to drive around without insurance, then they are willing to watch their car get hauled off. Simple as that. Don't feel sorry for these folks, they can walk for all I care.

Just like if they wanted to catch drunk drivers they would set up in south Tulsa but they won't

I will bet the vast majority of these stops were petty things that just raise revenue, but that wasnt mentioned in this glossy report. Most grants for roadblocks like this set a quota to meet or they cant collect the grant.

If they really wanted to catch uninsured drivers, they'd setup in East Tulsa.

And I am sure there will be even more when insurance rates go up to pay for the billions of dollars worth of boats that should have been brought inland before Sandy hit they had a week to prepare, and the high dollar cars that were left in the flood prone areas of Manhattan with all the multi-story parking garages in that city
