Considering US Airways outsources it maintenance and has been through bankruptcy twice I don't see how this could be a good decision at all for AA members here in Tulsa or for American as a whole. US Airways has no viable network either that will add any value to American Airlines or a combined airline. This is possibly the worst decision the unions at American could have made (especially for Tulsa and the maintenance base and the economy). Plus it comes on the heels of AA trying to renegotiate contracts under bankruptcy starting Monday - just yet more union/AA management issues to continue keeping the airline from moving forward and becoming what it could be, should be and once was.
