Two teenage girls stabbed early Saturday morning

An underage drinking party turned dangerous after a fight broke out between girls around midnight Saturday.
Police responded to a call from Kum & Go at 51st and Mingo of two teenage girls who were stabbed at a house party. The girls had walked away from the party to get help. The first victim was stabbed in the shoulder and after being transported to the hospital was released a few hours after admittance. The second victim was stabbed in the stomach and was held in the hospital overnight for observation. The names of the victims have not been released since they are minors.
The victims told police where the stabbing occurred and police took action. When officers arrived at the house party at 47th and Mingo 100-plus teenagers began scattering out of the house and through the back yard. Maricle Thompson, the homeowner and the adult who was conducting the party, was arrested on multiple counts of contributing to minors and also on drug charges.
The suspect who stabbed the two underage girls has been arrested but her name has not been released since she is a minor.
