TULSA, Okla. - An early Sunday morning fire at a north Tulsa duplex has put two people out of their homes.

It happened in the 2700 block of East Jasper Street.

A spokesperson with the Tulsa Fire Department told FOX23 that the call went out just after 1 a.m.

Fire crews said the fire started in a wall furnace.

The fire quickly worked its way up to the attic, but crews were able to get it under control before it caused too much damage.

One person was in each unit and fire officials say the American Red Cross was called out to help.
