Two people are in the hospital after a fire at a home in north Tulsa.

The fire broke out near 27th Place North and Hartford around three Tuesday morning. Firefighters say three people were inside when it started. When crews got there, one of them had managed to get out and was sitting outside. Crews had to rescue a man from the garage and a woman and a dog from the home.

Two people were taken to the hospital, one for burns, the other for smoke inhalation. The home was badly damaged. The Red Cross is helping the family.
