Two Construction Projects To Begin This Week

Construction Project Starts In Tulsa

(TULSA, Okla.) February 8-There is a new construction project starting this week in North Tulsa.

Crews are working to improve the streets and replace some waterlines in a couple of busy Tulsa areas.

Crews are set to begin street rehabilitation and a waterline replacement on North Yale from Admiral to Pine.

During the project, traffic will be down to one northbound land and one southbound lane.

This project should be completed in September.

Crews will be working on a similar project starting Wednesday. This will take place on Sheridan between Admiral and 21^st Street.

Traffic will be limited to one lane each direction for 3 months. The project includes repairs both above and below the pavement, applying new asphalt, and replacing some sidewalks. Some traffic signals will also be upgraded.

Completion on this second project is scheduled for May 2011.
