NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Police have arrested two people on a
first-degree murder complaint in the death of a man whose body was
found in a burned car in east Norman.
Oklahoma City residents Antonio Mendoza and Sheila Starr were
taken into custody on Saturday in connection with the death of
46-year-old Julian Ramirez Cazarez.
Cazarez's body was found Sunday morning. The state Medical
Examiner's office says he died from asphixial strangulation.
Norman Police Master Officer Jennifer Newell says Cazarez was
reported as a missing person to Oklahoma City police on Monday.
Mendoza and Starr were booked into the Cleveland County
Detention Center without bond.
