Tulsa took home the "Golden Crater" for worst parking in a landslide.

The blog DC.Streetsblog.org ranked the worst ‘parking craters’ in America. They asked for reader submissions to come up with a ‘Sweet 16’ bracket and Tulsa made the initial cut.

A reader submitted Tulsa, writing “The southern half of downtown is almost entirely surface parking. Our City Council recently passed a moratorium on demolishing old buildings for surface parking while the city tries to come up with new parking regulations.”

Tulsa made it all the way to the top, beating Milwaukee in the final round with a vote of 483 to 124.

I'm confused. We have all this parking so, we win a worst parking award? Anyone ever see Parking Wars? Seems we are doing pretty good.

Wow! Tulsa should have won that award decades ago and remained unbeaten for ever.
