Tulsa street to be renamed for Martin Luther King, Jr.

The City of Tulsa announced on Monday that North Cincinnati Avenue between East Archer Street and East 65th Place North will be renamed Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

I don't remember who the black comic was who said it, but he said anytime he was in a city and found himself on any street named after Martin Luther King he got to hell out of there as soon as possible because everyone knows any street named Martin Luther King is going to be the most dangerous steet in the whole city. Maybe they should try nameing them for criminals, so kids would remember what happens when they choose a life of crime everytime they saw the sreet sign.
