Tulsa police arrested a midtown Tulsa restaurant owner for assaulting a minor.
They locked up 53-year-old Tally Alame, but he told FOX23 he is actually the victim in all of this.
FOX23 has exclusive video of him chasing down the teenager. The 14-year-old boy said it was at a gas station where the owner of Tally's restaurant tried to repeatedly to catch him.
Alame said it started in his cafe.
"I saw him standing there and had a swinging motion, breaking the glass door of my van," said Alame.
He showed FOX23 the shattered window he said the teen broke.
"He was looking at me as he was running, he went in Zig Zags, Zags, straight to the gas station. He knew exactly what to do," said Alame.
Alame said he followed behind in his car and confronted the boy outside the gas station.
But the boy ran inside.
"So out of control, I followed him in the gas station and yes, he did go behind the counter and to tell you the truth I was mad. I don't even remember half of it," said Alame.
What he does remember is all the time he spent giving the boy free food a few months ago.
"His dad promised me 'he will never come back again, you don't have to worry about him anymore,' I said thank you. Last week, he showed up on his own," said Alame.
Police said even though you know a person, that's not an excuse to take criminal matters into your own hands.
"If an individual is breaking a car window, breaking a window out, call us. Be the best witness possible, get a description of the individual," said the Tulsa police.
Alame said it's still not fair that he's the bad guy.
"I just went after him to show him I saw you and here I am. I know I maybe shouldn't touch him but I couldn't control it."
Alame was briefly held on a $10,000 bond. No charges by the boy or his parents have been filed at this time.
