Tulsa police trying to identify attempted robbery suspect

Tulsa robbery detectives are attempting to identify a subject from an attempted robbery that occurred at the Kum and Go on December 30th.

The incident happened at the Kum and Go at 14495 E. 51st Street at about 12:00 a.m. The suspect is a white male that is covered up, but the jacket he is wearing is very distinctive.

Police say the suspect demanded money and when the clerk refused the suspect stated "I'm not going to do this because you have courage and I like you." There was no loss in the attempted robbery.

FOX23 is getting surveillance video from Tulsa Police and will update this story when it comes into the newsroom. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
