Tulsa police search for man who stole woman's purse from store

Tulsa police are looking for a suspect they said stole a purse from an office at a Dollar General store.

Police say on Aug. 15 around 1:302 p.m., the suspect entered Dollar General at 9727 E. 31st Street. The suspect went to the rear of the store and entered the storage area. Police say the suspect forced opened the door to the manager’s office and took a purse containing cash and credit cards. The suspect put the purse down the front of his pants before leaving the office.

The suspect was then observed by store employees concealing additional merchandise. The suspect was confronted by the manger and was asked to leave the store. The manger retained the items they had observed him conceal, but was unaware the suspect had stolen the purse.
