A Tulsa police officer shot at a robbery suspect in the 1500 block of N. Apache on Wednesday.

Police say around noon the suspect walked into the Dash Inn with a gun and demanded money. They said a witness started to walk in, but saw what was going on and walked out and called police.

Police said when officers arrived the suspect was walking out with a gun in his hand. Officers ordered him to stop and drop the gun. He didn’t, so one officer fired a shot, but did not hit the suspect.

The suspect dropped the gun at that point, but kept walking away from police. Police said another officer tasered him and he was arrested.

Police are investigating this because it is an officer involved shooting incident.
