A Tulsa police officer was taken to the hospital after a car wreck Friday morning.

TPD told us the officer was in an unmarked car near Pine and Mingo around 8 a.m. when a woman pulled out of a convenience store and hit the side of the officer's car.

The impact sent the car into the grass. The officer hurt his back but is expected to be okay.

The photo at http://kotv.images.worldnow.com/images/22939124_BG2.jpg doesnt agree with TPDs version of events, but implies the undercover car was speeding. Was there dashcam video? QT surveillance video? Guess we will never know.

It's against the rules now for an officer to lie, so all the evidence and witnesses must be lying.

Channel 6 has a picture of the police car. There is NO WAY the accident happened this way.
