Tulsa police want your help to solve a midtown murder case.

Investigators released new pictures of two people wanted in connection with a robbery on December 18th at Ryan's Convenience Store at 9900 E. 21st Street.

The masked bandits may be connected to the murder of Peggy Gaytan on December 22nd inside the Shell gas station at 36th and Harvard.

Detectives believe in both of the robberies the shoes are the same but the roles and the masks changed.

In the Ryan’s Store robbery police speculate the robber in the white mask is the “alpha” robber who is making all the demands and the robber in the black mask is lost in the robbery and following orders.

The white mask looks similar to Jason in Friday the 13th movies.

In the Ryan’s store robbery they steal cash from the register and take off.

The shoes on one of the robbers appears to be white with black trim, possibly Nike’s Air Jordan’s.

In the Shell station robbery the roles are reversed but the shoes stay the same.

The robber in black mask rushes the store and immediately shoots and kills Peggy Gaytan.

The robber in the white mask stays at the door as the “look out” man.

Detectives believe the suspects are inexperienced and may not have been themselves over the holidays.

"What we're hoping for is for someone to say 'okay one robbery is enough but when they kill somebody and we know who did this' and point us in the right direction. If you kill someone you are going to have a personality change," says Tulsa Police Homicide Sgt. Dave Walker.

Detectives say anyone with a similar physical description and may have had sudden mood changes, drug or alcohol use or depression and seclusion are signs they may be connected to the robberies.

The Tulsa Homicide Unit is asking anyone with information about the Ryan's robbery or the murder of Ms. Gaytan to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or the Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477.
