Tulsa traffic investigators need help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run.

Police say on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 10:45 pm, witnesses observed a Ford Pickup truck strike a pedestrian walking along Pine Street near New Haven Avenue.

Police determined the suspect vehicle is a 1992-1996 Ford Short Wide F150 and is possibly maroon or red in color. A generic photo of a similar truck is attached. Police say it should have damage to the right front area of the pickup; specifically the grill and headlight assembly will be broken.

Police say video evidence shows the actual suspect vehicle does have a chrome rear bumper, chrome bed rails and a chrome door mirror. The tailgate says FORD on the upper passenger side similar to the photo below.

The pedestrian victim sustained several critical injuries and was transported to the hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES (274637).
