Tulsa police say they are looking into witness statements and verifying alibis in connection to the murder of a Tulsa teen.

Gabby Bledsoe, 18, was found stabbed to death in her north Tulsa home on March 2nd.  Police tell FOX23 based on their investigation they have obtained an arrest warrant for James Barber on drug warrants and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction. Police tell FOX23 Barber is the ex-boyfriend of Bledsoe's mother.

Police say Barber and his attorney have gone to the police station and are offering a minimum of cooperation. Investigators say that lack of cooperation should not be construed as guilt.

The investigation into Bledsoe's death is ongoing and an arrest warrant will be issued when the evidence warrants. Anyone with information that can assist the investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or the Homicide Tip Line at 798 8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org.
