Tulsa police are looking for armed robbers they said threatened two gas station clerks and stole cash.

Officers say the robberies happened within hours of each other. The first happened at Diamond Shamrock near 21st and Garnett, the other happened at a Kum-and-Go near 41st and Peoria.

Police say at the first gas station 30 minutes before the store closed two men went inside picked up a few items off the shelves and then one went to the cash register, pulled out a gun and demanded all the money from the cashier.

Then both men ran to a getaway vehicle.

About two and half hours later police responded to the second gas station: a midtown Tulsa Kum-and-Go.

Police talked to the cashier who said the robbers did a very similar thing to her.

Two men went inside, one to the cash register, where a woman was behind the counter, and pulled out a pistol and demanded cash.

Police said the robber threatened her life and she handed over money.

Police say in both robberies there was a getaway vehicle waiting, with one or two people inside.

Channel 6 was not too cowardly to describe the men as black...why is 23? Terrified of political incorrectness?
