Tulsa police investigate city's 56th homicide

Tulsa police are investigating the city’s 56th homicide.
The Tulsa Fire Department responded to an apartment fire at 1219 E 63 Street on November 3rd around 4:00 am.
The fire was extinguished and a male body was discovered inside deceased. The circumstances around the fire’s origin prompted the Tulsa Fire Department’s Arson Unit to contact the Tulsa Police Department’s Homicide Unit. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The investigation lead to the arrest of Doretha Poland for murder. The investigation has revealed that Poland and the victim, identified as Kenson St. Remy, were in a relationship prior to the homicide.
