Tulsa police have identified a city contract worker hit and killed while moving orange cones on the street on Wednesday night.

Patrick J. Boyle died after a Black Chevy pick-up hit him near 51st and Memorial around 7:30. Bystanders tried to perform CPR and EMSA transported him to the hospital where he died.

The truck drove off but was later found by police about a half a mile from the scene.

The female driver was taken to the hospital to be tested for drugs and alcohol. A police supervisor said she told them, she thought she hit a cone.  She has not been arrested.
