Tulsa police have cancelled their search for a woman they had thought was in danger.

"Detectives were notified that Tawny Sheppard contacted her family and said she was ok," Officer Leland Ashley said Sunday.

Police had issued a missing persons bulletin for Tawney on February 28th.

Why is this teen homeless? If she is a minor where are her parents or why isn't she in foster care?
