Tulsa police arrest woman who allegedly bit ear off another woman

Tulsa police arrested a woman they say bit the ear off of another woman on Tuesday night.

Police were called to the Highland Park Apartments near 51st and Yale just before 10:30 p.m. to check on a disturbance.

According to the police report the caller told police that she got in a fight with Sierra Shawnee and Shawnee bit off her left ear. Police said the woman also had cuts on her chest. A witness told police Shawnee had a knife at one point and threw it on the roof of a nearby building. Police recovered the knife.

The report states Shawnee was intoxicated, belligerent and uncooperative. Police arrested her on complaints of assault and battery and maiming.
