Tulsa police arrested a woman they said crashed her car into two house in midtown Tulsa while driving under the influence.
Police say they were called to a crash involving two houses in the 2300 block of E. Florence Place just before midnight on Thursday. They found Chelsea Hopkins standing near the car and said she smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet.
Witnesses told police they saw Hopkins trying to crawl out of the crashed vehicle and she first told them she was alone, and then said a man was driving and then said another woman was driving. Witnesses did not see anyone else and police said there was no sign of another person in the car.
Police gave Hopkins a sobriety test she did not pass, and after she was checked out by EMSA she was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence, improper tag display, no driver’s license and no insurance.
