Tulsa police investigating a wanted subject ended up arresting three people on drug charges.
Police said shortly after midnight officers were assigned to assist a US Marshal in apprehending an escaped fugitive at the Motel 6 at 12500 E. 51 St.
Officers were looking for Trinity Baker. Baker had recently escaped from DOC custody and had a felony warrant out for her arrest. Officers assisted US Marshals in making contact with Baker as well as two other individuals inside one of the motel rooms.
While taking Baker into custody, officers observed drug paraphernalia as well as the odor of marijuana. Officers got a search warrant and recovered varying amounts of marijuana, prescription pills, as well as methamphetamine.
All three occupants in the hotel room were arrested. Trinity Baker was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled drug, possession of paraphernalia. Baker was also booked by US Marshals as an escaped fugitive.
Dustin Smith was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of controlled drug and possession of paraphernalia.
Todd Nuytens was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of controlled drug with intent, possession of paraphernalia.
